Billie Mae Williams, 81, died April 11, 2012, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. She was born in Paducah, Ky., and lived in Stuart for 56 years, coming from Portland, Tenn. Before retirement, she worked for the Martin County School Board. She was the dean of Martin County and South Fork high schools from 1972 to 1990. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Stuart. She received her master's in education leadership from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Survivors include her daughter, Kim Cotton Williams of Stuart; son, Jay Carlton Williams of Stuart; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Charles Williams.
