HARDIN, BETTYE JANE, 81, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at her home. She was the former Bettye Rice, a native of Louisville, a homemaker and a nurturing and loving mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan H. Hardin Jr., and her sons, Danny and David Hardin. She is survived by her sons, Michael, Bruce and Matt Hardin; daughters, Linda Davenport, Susan Smith, Shirley Hardin and Simone Hardin; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
