Betty Louise Jarrett Moore MOORE, SC-- Betty Louise Jarrett Moore, 85, wife of the late Charles E. Moore, died Sunday, July 27, 2014. Betty was born on May 4, 1929 to the late Clyde A. and Louise Young Jarrett. She was a graduate of Roebuck High School, Office manager for the Leader Department Store and finished her career at Belk after 41 years of service. She was also the owner of Moore Jersey Farms. Betty was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Sanderson (John) of Oneonta, AL; two sons, Gerald Moore (Carolyn) of Spartanburg, Dean Moore (Donna) of Moore; four grandchildren, James White (Lacy), Chuck White (Megan), Kristen Leviner, Katherine Moore; four great-grandchildren, Claire White, Madison Cooper, Micah Cooper, Landon Clontz; and a sister, Mary Donald of Moore. Betty was predeceased by a son, James Franklin Moore, two brothers, Edwin and Charles Jarrett. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM today, Tuesday, July 29th at Dunbar Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 30th at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Jason Lee. The family is at the home of her son, Dean.
