MILLER, Betty J., 83, of Holiday, Florida, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Holiday from Boynton Beach, Fla.in 1986. She retired after 20 years as bookkeeper of Neuman Engraving in Troy, Mich. and was a Methodist. She was a former secretary for the Detroit Women's Bowling Association and helped set up the Sears Catalog Department in Highland Park, Mich. Betty was an avid card and scrabble player and an avid letter writer, corresponding with friends from grade school and Girl Scouts until her death. Survivors includeher son, Jack L. Miller of Byron, Mich.; daughter, Lois J. Hoult of Holiday; five grandchildren, Lorie Jewell of Land O'Lakes, Timothy Jewell of Enterprise, Ala., Michael Guthrie of Midland, Mich., Laura Emily Miller of Bay City, Mich. and Justin Miller of Byron, Mich.; three great-grandchildren; and her little dog, Georgie.
