HOOD, Betty Betty Hood, formerly of Elmira, NY and now known as Elizabeth Forsythe Lewis, 87, of Charlottesville, passed away at her home on Friday, December 19, 2008. She was born July 6, 1921 in Elmira, New York, the daughter of the late Basil and Eloise Garrison Forsythe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver C. Lewis. Survivors include her sons, Victor A. "Al" Hood and his wife Patricia, of Charlottesville, Gary A. Hood, of Minneapolis, MN; two stepsons, Steve Lewis and Bill Lewis and his wife Sandy, all of MA; a granddaughter, Lisa Cannell and her husband Paul, of Charlottesville; a grandson, Michael Hood, of Winston-Salem, NC; three step-granddaughters, Mackenzie, Stephanie and Shannon Lewis; and two great-granddaughters, Kathleen and Colette Cannell, of Charlottesville.
