Betty (Pruitt) Davis Miller died Sept. 13, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Okla., from complications of Parkinson's. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter T. and Katherine Pruitt; and her husband, R.E. Jeff Davis of Joplin. She is survived by her husband, Clint, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; her brother, Jack Pruitt of Springfield; her daughter, Katy White, and her son, Gary Davis, both of Joplin; three granddaughters and three grandsons; several great-grandchildren; a cousin, Bill Stephens of Galena; and other family and friends. A memorial service was held Sept. 18 in Oklahoma City, Okla. No other services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
