Betty Belle Bergmann Lafley Clark, 87, Sarasota, died July 26, 2005. She was born June 29, 1918, in Beloit, Wis., and came to Sarasota from Wisconsin. She and her late husband, Harold, owned Clark Plastering and Stucco. She was a former Red Cross Auxiliary member and president of Sarasota Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary. She graduated from Ringling School of Art and was a member of Church of the Palms. Survivors include a daughter, Betty B. Taylor-Custer; sons Herky Lafley and Paul Lafley; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. No visitation is planned. Private services will be later.
