WILLIAMS,BERNICE BATIE, 73St. Petersburg, FL - Bernice Batie Williams, 73, of St. Petersburg, FL. Passed away May 30, 2013. She is survived by her sister Carol Williams, brothers Samuel and David Sawyer. Sons, Broderick, Curtis, Allen, Daughter Paula Batie, 18 grandchildren, 30 plus great-grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews and other family. Bernice worked at "All Children's Hospital" from late 1970's through early 2000's, as a pump technician or (Clinical Perfusionists) during open heart surgery. Bernice was a pioneer in being one of the first in the on the job training program at Shands Hospital located in Gainesville, Florida and part of the University of Florida medical education. Bernice and family moved to St. Petersburg in 1977 and she remained in St. Petersburg until God called her home. Bernice will be missed by family and friends whom lives she touched during an amazing life. Neptune Society.
