JOHNSON, BARBARA WOODALL a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Roebuck area, passed away on August 17, 2013 of a heart attack. Barbara was a vivacious wife, mother, daughter, sister, and loved life. She enjoyed dancing, socializing with many friends and travel. She started dancing with Mickey Mouse Club on Saturdays at the Alabama Theatre. She was an active charter member of the Magic City Boppers and The Club. She was a member of The Alabama Show Stoppers Dance Group. She danced on stage at the Senior Ms. America contest in Las Vegas. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; one son, Rodney Johnson (Angel); 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley; and brother, Donald Woodall (Betty). She is preceded in death by father, Leo, Sr.; mother, Lillian Woodall; and brother, Leo Woodall, Jr. Services will be held Saturday, August 24 at 11AM at the Wilson Chapel United Methodist Church, Visitation at 10AM The Reverend Alex O'Berneder conducting services. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Alabama Showstoppers. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
