BRADENTON, FLORIDA - Barbara Louise Brochu Morris, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2005 in Bradenton, Florida surrounded by her loving family.Born in Norwich, CT on May 16, 1937, she moved to Ellenton, Florida in June 2000. She was the daughter of the late Delphis and Marguerite Brochu. She was an executive secretary, a member of The Journey of Assembly of God Church, and a member of MADD. Louise enjoyed singing karaoke with her husband at local nursing homes, and watching Boston Red Sox baseball games.She is survived by her husband Robert W. Morris of Ellenton, FL, sons Rick Schaffhauser of Bremmerton, Wa, Mark Langlois of Warwick, RI and Eric LaRoche of Hanrahan, SC and her daughters Anne Gagnon of North Kingston, RI, Kathryn Irvine of Waterford, CT and Kerry Muntimuri of Ledyard, CT.Daughterinlaw Pam Schaffhauser, Sonsinlaw Tom Irvine and Gabe Muntimuri. Also surviving her are her brothers, Dr. Robert W. Brochu and his wife Nancy of Bradenton, Fl and Misquamicut Beach, RI and Paul Delphis Brochu and his wife Marybeth of Sarasota, FL, and seven nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her daughter Laura Louise Schaffhauser Bernardo.Her greatest source of pride were her seventeen grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at Church and Allen Funeral Home at 10:00 on Saturday, October 29.Memorial donations in her name may be made to MADD 1649 Rt. 12, Gales Ferry, CT 06335.
