Barbara L. Williams, 88, Rotonda West, died Aug. 24, 2004. She was born March 21, 1916, in Pittsfield, Mass., and came to Rotonda West four years ago from Englewood. She received a B.S. degree from Wheaton College in Illinois. She had been a secretary for the Red Cross, retiring in 1976. She had been a member of Rotonda West Community Church. Survivors include daughters Charlotte J. Friel of Tega Cay, S.C., and Martha T. Williams of Ashburn, Va.; a son, Peter L. of Richmond, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
