HOLBROOK Barbara C. (Reardon) White, a lifelong resident of Holbrook, died April 6, 2009, after a period of failing health, at age 73. She was the wife of the late Richard C. White Sr.; loving mother of Richard C. White Jr. of Norwalk, Conn., John J. White of Raynham and Paula M. Grant of Holbrook; dear grandmother of Nicole White, Danielle White, Courtney White, Matthew White and Robert Grant; sister of the late John Reardon. Mrs. White grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Sumner High School, Holbrook. She was a retired operator for New England Telephone Company, at the Brockton office. She was a member of the Holbrook Fire Dept., Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the St. Josephs Women's Bowling League. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook. A funeral service will be held Friday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-8 p.m. Burial in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
