Barbara Ann Williams, age 65, of Ormond Beach, died March 16, 2011. She was predeceased by one daughter, Lisa Pate; three brothers, Charles Shropshire, James Shropshire, Nathaniel Shropshire (Juanita); and one sister, Peggy Horton. She was born in Kershaw, South Carolina, and resided in the Daytona Beach area for most of her adult life. She owned and operated a cleaning service for more than 20 years, and later retired and became a steady homemaker. She had the opportunity to serve as a full time pioneer as a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and thoroughly enjoyed the ministry. She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Williams, Ormond Beach; children, Beverly Cooper, Patricia Shaw (Mike), Cassandra Butler (Shawn), Michelle Gilmore all of Palm Coast, Ryan C. Pate (Lydia), Daytona Beach, Rodney Pate (Jenea'), Alpharetta, Georgia; brothers, Leroy Shropshire (Pat), Orlando, FL, Woodrow Shropshire (Sharon), Henry Shropshire (Myrna), Jessie Shropshire, Michael Shropshire all of Daytona Beach; sisters, Betty Shropshire, Charlotte, North Carolina, Glendora Shepherd (Bill), Daytona Beach; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncle, aunt, cousins and many close friends. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 500 Colfax Drive, Daytona Beach, FL. Herbert Thompson of Daytona Beach is in charge.
