Obituary of Arwannah-Faye Smith


Arwannah Faye Smith, age 84 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at The Oaks of Limestone following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 3, 1929, in Gainesville, Ga., to the late Howard Bone and Stella Gillespie Bone. She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Arwannah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewey Smith; and two of her sons, David Smith and Larry Smith.Mrs. Smith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Anna Smith of Washington, Ga.; her daughters and sons-in-law, Debi and Tom Stevenson of Gainesville and Joy and Randy Henry of Albany, Ga.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, is in charge of arrangements.
