Arthur Lynn Wilson, 76, Lubbock, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012.Mr. Wilson graduated from Indiana School for the Deaf and worked at Cummins Diesel. He served as a gospel preacher in Indiana, California and Texas, as well as on mission trips to Czechoslovakia and Mexico.Born Jan. 8, 1935, in Retreat, he was the son of Raymond and Elsie Berry Wilson. He married Nancy Guge on June 21, 1958, in Kokomo. After retiring, the couple moved to Lubbock, Texas, in 1990, where he attended Sunset School of Preaching and remained an active member of the congregation.Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 53 years, Nancy; three sons, Bob (Lana), Columbus, Dennis (Theresa), Cozumel, Mexico, and Mike (Katya), Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Becky (Wes) Trueblood, Brownstown, and Kathy (Jeff) McCrary-Toppe, Vallonia; one brother, Bill (Eloise), Buchanan, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lois JoAnn McKain.Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Church of Christ.
