JETTER, Sr., Mervin C.Mervin C. Jetter, Sr., 91, of Boynton Beach, FL, husband of the late Arlene D. Jetter (nee Miller), died Friday, August 23, 2013 in Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a resident of Glassboro, NJ from 1961 until 2006 when he moved to Florida. He served with the US Army in World War II and was the Owner/Operator of Mervin Jetter & Sons, wholesale apple dealers, for over 50 years. He enjoyed pinochle, gambling, horse and dog racing, sports, playing pool, traveling and especially being with family and grandchildren. Mervin was a former member of Glassboro Lions Club. Predeceased by his loving grandson, Keith Chamberlin, Mr. Jetter is survived by sons, Mervin C., Jr. (Jane) of Glassboro, NJ, Christian J. (Nancy) of Pitman, NJ, and daughter, Marlene B. Chamberlin of Lindenwold, NJ. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Brian, Steven, Susan, Chip, Todd and Heidi; and his great-grandchildren, Haley, Connor, Gavin, Riley, Peyton, Ian, and Miranda. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at 4:00 PM in the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ, where friends may visit with the family after 3:00 PM.
