TRENTON, S.C. - Mrs. Annie Mae Ryans Carter, 82, of Winding Road, entered into rest June 17, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Carter, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Shaws Creek Church where she served on the usher's ministry. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #10. Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Marion) Barley and Naydes (Melvin) Callaham, Trenton, SC; a son, Kyle (Tamesha) Carter, Hephzibah, Ga; three sisters, Thelma Mayo, Ada Walker and Mary Ryans, Philadelphia, Pa; three brothers, A.B. (Mary E.) Ryans, John (Mary S.) Ryans, Edgefield, SC; and Alexander (Blanche) Ryans, Philadelphia, Pa; brother-in-law, Steward (Rose) Carter, Trenton, SC; twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
