Funeral service for Annette Self Lewis, 63, will be Saturday, November 8, 2014, 2 p.m. at Coldwater Baptist Church. The Rev. Clint Vaughn and the Rev. Jackie Morgan will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 till 2 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Lewis passed away on Tuesday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, Terrell D. Lewis, mother, Mildred Pauline Self; sons, Shannon Payne (Angela), Scott Payne (Beth); step son, David Lewis; sister, Diane Freeman (Lamar); grandchildren, Ally Payne, Buddy Dean, Jessica Payne, Taylor Mitchell, Tristan Blake, Tori Blake; great-grandchildren, Brody Dean and Kendal Dean. Pallbearers will be Randy Coppock, Dean Coppock, Lee White, Kenny Duncan, Buddy Dean and David Sparks with members of the ANCA family at the Anniston Army Depot serving as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Lewis was lifelong member of Coldwater Baptist Church. Her and her sister started singing duets at church since she was a teenager. Mrs. Lewis has been a part of a trio and also a quartet. Music was always a huge part of her life. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked at Fort McClean till the closing of the base and Anniston Army Depot until she retired.
