MORRISON, Anne Marshall (nee Brodie) Passed away suddenly but peacefully on December 15th with her daughter at her side at Peace Arch Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 2009. She is survived by daughter Margaret Anne (John), granddaughter Kimberley (Daniel), grandson Gregory and great-granddaughters Laura and Anna. Also her sisters Cathie Brodie and Amy Newton of Oban, Scotland, and her very dear friend of more than 80 years, Margaret Howk in Fairbanks, Alaska. Born October, 1918 in Lochboisdale, Scotland, Anne came to Canada in 1929 to settle in the Yukon and eventually, Vancouver. Anne was a very active member of Glamis Camp, Sons of Scotland, being Past Chief and also Past District Chief. Anne also belonged to the Vancouver Gaelic Society and the Vancouver Yukoners Association. Anne loved to spend time with her family and her great-granddaughters provided her with endless hours of laughter and things to talk about. Anne will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
