MOUNDVILLE Amy Laurene Epperson Stone, age 62, of Moundville, died Mar. 1, 2008, in Moundville. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Havana Methodist Cemetery with Chris Pritchett officiating and Magnolia Chapel South Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Epperson; mother, Una Montz Epperson Surber; sister, Elizabeth Anne Epperson Rinehart; and granparents, Douglas and Esmma Montz and Ludie and Minnie Epperson.Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Glenn Stone; daughters, Katrina S. Black and Scarlett S. York; son, Zachary G. Stone; sister, Linda McDaniel; brothers, William Epperson and Bobby Eperson; and seven grandchildren.She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.Pallbearers will be Larry Glover, Kevin Rinehart, Dow McDaniel, Andrew Black, Randy Davis, Justin Mattherson, and Mattew Mattherson.Honorary pallbearers are the former employees of Greene County Hospital, the staff of West Alabama Mental Health, and Katherine McClellan.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
