BIDWELL, Alvah Winnifred (nee Lewis): Passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the age of 91. Survived by her loving family, four sons: Pat of West Kelowna; Len (Karen) of Kelowna and their daughter Karlen of Calgary; Bob (Debbie) of Grande Prairie and their children Tammy of Drayton Valley AB and Nathan (Tiffanie) their child, great granddaughter Danica, of Grande Prairie; Doug (Carla) and their daughters Kendra and Abby, of Victoria; one sister Linda Lewis of Calgary; two brothers: Ray Lewis (Betty) of St. Albert; Don Lewis (Phyllis) of Billings, Montana; sister-in-law Ludie Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her husband Joseph, infant son John, grandson Jarred; three sisters: Joyce, Glenda and Ona and one brother Vern. A Graveside Service will be held at the Gellatly Cemetery on Gellatly Road in West Kelowna on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 am, and a Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, in Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. George's Anglican Church: 3690 Brown Rd., West Kelowna, V4T 1Z1 or the Kelowna Gospel Mission: PO Box 22087, Capri PO, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 9N9.
