Mrs. Altha Susan Hoffman 56, of Lake City, died Sunday morning December 13, 2009 in Lake City Medical Center following a brief illness. A native of Westfield, New York. Mrs. Hoffman had been a resident of Lake City for the past eight years having moved here from Fort Pierce, Florida. She worked as a receiving clerk for Wal-Mart. Mrs. Hoffman enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her friends at Wal-Mart. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard J. Hoffman. Mrs. Hoffman is survived by two sisters Ada Blodgett of Lake City, Florida and Emma Jean Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers Jim Henry and Robert Henry, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Ted Henry of Georgia. The family will receive friends on Monday evening December 21, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home with a Memorial service at 7:00 P.M. with the Rev. Charles Peck oficiating.
