JOHNSON, ALMA RUTH - age 83, of Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Loudon Health Care Center. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Alma was retired from Charles H. Bacon Hosiery Mill. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, James David Johnson; son, Dennis Norman Johnson; parents, Robert "Bob" Mealer and Nancy Goins Mealer; daughter-in-law, Carolyn C. Johnson; brothers, W. L. Mealer and wife, Louise, and Jack Mealer; and sister, Freddie Mealer. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Betty) Johnson of Sweetwater, Bruce (Debbie) Johnson of Lenoir City, Tom (Trish) Johnson of Loudon and Anthony (Liz) Johnson of Lenoir City; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Kenneth Johnson of Lenoir City; sisters-in-law, Joyce White of McMinn County, Louise Cook of Greenback and Sandra Mealer; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Harrell and Rev. Bob Gamble officiating. Family and friends will gather by 10:30, Friday, morning and proceed to the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. www.clickfuneralhome.com
