LIND - Alice H. (nee Hamilton) November 6, 2010, of Town of Tonawanda, NY. Born in Buffalo, NY in 1924, Alice was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served as a Navy nurse and was a lifelong community volunteer. She was a world traveler, teacher and lover of nature, which she instilled in all her children; a great adventurer and a ruthless card shark. Beloved wife of the late Robert; dear mother of James (Christine), Robin (Kenneth) and Robert (Cheryl) Lind; sister of Eleanor Bertok, Judith Cable and the late Betty Widdig; also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Deerhurst Presbyterian Church, 257 Deerhurst Park Blvd., Tonawanda, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Buffalo Hospice Foundation.
