Alice Ellen Jones Arington, 92, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, in Louisville. She was born in Frankfort on Dec. 12, 1921, to the late Roy L. and Pearl Hockensmith Jones, and was the widow of George Morgan Arington. Survivors include her son, Jerry Arington of Simpsonville; brother, Paul Jones of Frankfort. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. until the service hour.
