Obituary of A. Joyce Wilson


A. Joyce Pridham 1923-2015 A. Joyce Pridham (nee Wilson) passed away on January 30, 2015 at Kennebec Manor. Born on October 17, 1923 in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Dr. Kenneth A. Wilson Q.C. and Miriam (McDermaid) Wilson. Joyce was a member of W.M.S. Society, Westfield Golf Club and Carleton Curling Club. She volunteered with many organizations over the years but was active with Meals On Wheels for over 25 years. She was on the Advisory Committee Board of Turnbull Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband, George I. Pridham; children, Susan Pridham, Saint John and Miriam Sears (Carl) Garson, ON; grandchildren, Christine Fink (Charles), Sudbury, ON and their children Brian and Heidi; Jeffrey G. Sears (Danika), Victoria, BC and their child Scott; sisters, Eleanor Marcus, Victoria, BC; Norine Summerby, Brockville; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Doris Clowater. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9:30 AM until funeral time. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances may be made Kennebec Manor or to Ridgewood Veterans Wing.
