CARTER, Yvonne, (ROY) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, Yvonne, on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at her home after a courageous five year battle with Corticobasal Degeneration Disease. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Frank, of 50 years of marriage; children, Tom (Cathy), Rory, Sherry (Darwin), and Maurice; grandchildren, Krista, Jennifer, Carley and Ashley; sisters, Kathleen, Agnes, Marie and Lorraine. Yvonne was predeceased by her mother Flora; father Albert; and sisters, Jane and Rita. A memorial service celebrating Yvonne's life will be held on Friday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grey Street United Church, 651 Sandhurst Ave. Our family would like to extend special thanks for the wonderful Home Care Staff, the Columbus Centre for their patience and understanding and the staff of the St. Boniface Geriatric Centre. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Yvonne's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
