LEE, Won Fong (Francis) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Won Fong (Francis) Lee on September 3, 2014 after her struggle with many health issues. She was born in Shekki, Guangdong, China on November 6, 1933. She immigrated to Victoria, BC with her family in October 1956. She was a loving, thoughtful, generous woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Even though Won Fong had dementia in her later years she still enjoyed going out for a meal with family. She was content just sitting quietly, listening to everyone's conversations around her. Won Fong was pre-deceased by her husband Man Yin in 2012. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Nancy (Rick) and Lana (Ray). Her four cherished granddaughters Kayla, Megan, Madison and Hailey will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by her younger brothers Arthur (Diane), Henry (Karen) and younger sister Barbara (Norman) and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Won Fong is survived by sister-in-law Soo Fun Wong of San Francisco and many of her husband's relatives. The family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and all the staff of RJH 8th Floor North and Victoria Hospice, for their excellent care of Won Fong. Viewing will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra Street. Internment will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park at 2:30 PM.
