TAYLOR, WINNIFRED CHRISTINE - 90, Petitcodiac, passed away on June 5, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Cornhill, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Cameron) Moore. Winnifred was the wife of the late Harry "Allison" Taylor. She was a graduate of Oulton's Business College, and she was an employee of Atlantic Sales. Winnifred and Allison operated Taylor's Grocery on the Ridge Road in Dobson's Corner for over twenty years. She was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church and the Helen Hahn W.M.S. Winnifred is survived by her son, Richard DeBow (Evelyn McCormick) of Ontario; her step-daughters, Marguerite Jackson (Gary) of Mississauga, Shirley Tingley (Gerald) of Pollett River, Marlene Middleton (Leigh) of Sussex, Monica Alward (Nelson) of Saint John; her step-sons, Ralph Taylor (Georgie Lee) of Moncton, Vernon Taylor (Beverley) of Springhill, NS, Eric Taylor (Linda) of Pollett River, Frank Taylor (Pauline) of Montreal, Stuart Taylor (Janice) of Calgary and Harry Taylor (Esther)of Petitcodiac; her sister, Mary Steeves (Robert) of Petitcodiac; and her brother, Robert Moore (Margaret) of Riverview; brother-in-law, Art Hicks of Riverview; 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Winnifred was predeceased by her daughters, Carolyn Kerr and Helen Shanley; her grandson, Jason Middleton; her sisters, Ethel Perry and Edythe Hicks; and her brother, Raymond Moore. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Armstrong's Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Petitcodiac Baptist Church on Sunday June 8, 2008 at 3 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. Interment will be held in Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, the Cornhill Baptist Church Building Fund, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
