<!-- FH = HOPEWELL FUNERAL HOME -->BROWN, Winnie Lee Sammons, 63, of Lithia, Florida, entered into eternal rest April 16, 2012, after a long courageous fifteen year battle with cancer. She was born September 13, 1948 in Tampa, Florida, and worked at Durant High School in the lunchroom for many years. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Curtis; one daughter, Connie Patrick and husband, Kevin; five grand-children, Tristan Schroeter (Eric), Jacob Patrick, Kayla Patrick, Evan Patrick, and Kindall Patrick; three great-grandchildren, "the love of her life", Joshua, Josiah, and Jeremiah; six sisters; three brothers; a host of nieces and nephews; and her very special lunchroom lady friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gladys Sammons; and three siblings, Mac Sammons, Doyle Sammons, and Sandra Miller. The family will receive friends Friday, April 20 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 CR 39 S., Plant City.
