Wilton Arthur Kent CHATTAHOOCHEE - Wilton Arthur Kent, 72, a self-employed registered mechanical contractor, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in Marianna. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Eloise Wilson Kent. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at First Baptist Church in Chattahoochee, with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. EST today at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home (850-593-9900). A native of Alford, he had lived in Chattahoochee for 27 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school in the church prison ministry. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Other survivors include two daughters, Karen Fontaine (and husband James) of Panama City and Brenda Thigpen (and husband J.B.) of Lakeland; two sons, Stan Kent of Greenwood and Randy Mercer of Chattahoochee; four brothers, Noah Kent and Price Kent, both of Chattahoochee, Charles Kent of Mexico Beach and Al Kent of Alford; two sisters, Zolena Kent of Alford and Shirley Daniels of Port St. Joe; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
