Wilma Pauline Johnson, 88, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Pauline was the daughter of Fred and Evelyn Fulton, and she grew up in Hot Springs, Ark., where she met and married her husband of 66 years, A. L. Johnson. Pauline and A. L. moved to Niceville, Fla., in 1961 when they bought Child's Drug Store. They worked there side by side until retiring in 1993. Pauline was active in Eastern Star and Beta Sigma Phi Service Sorority and a longtime member of several area Baptist churches. She is survived by her husband, A. L.; two daughters, Marcia Bourne (Mike) and Debbie Goot (Stephen), and son, Andy (Tammy); five grandchildren, Chris Cotter (Wendy), Brian Bible (Suzanne), Michael Goot, Andrea Johnson and Malori Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Eric and Vivian Bible and Ethan Cotter. In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution to The Sterling House Associate Appreciation Fund in appreciation for nine years of loving care or to Covenant Hospice of Fort Walton Beach. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m. at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Fla., followed by a private family burial.
