November 28, 2008 Wilma Hamlin Smith, 90, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday, surrounded by her family, at Crouse Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Syracuse, Wilma retired as a customer service representative from Puro-lator Courier. She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of Warners Home Bureau. She was predeceased by her daughter, Heather Pierce. Surviving are her daughter, Lucinda (Cindy) Cronin of Cicero; a son-in-law, Stephen Pierce of Liverpool; grandchildren, Heather and Michael Lawless of Cicero, Stephen and Heather Pierce of Stafford, VA, and Sean and Lisa Pierce of Liverpool; eight great-grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter Lawless, and Ian, Jane, Ryan, Collin, Madison and Michael Pierce; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and her other beloved "grandchildren," Pumpkin, Spike and Max. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville.
