HINGHAM William Bill Cusack, 76, of Hingham, Massachusetts died Tuesday, July 21, after a long illness, with his family by his side. Born in Brighton, Bill spent most of his life in Massachusetts. He was a 37 year veteran radio broadcaster, morning man for WXKS and retired from WPLM. He also taught at the Northeast School of Broadcasting in Boston. He was a Korean War Vet, VFW Post Commander and the President of the Lions Club in Hingham. He was a diehard Reds Sox fan, enjoyed traveling, golf, cribbage and bowling. Bill was predeceased by his son Billy Cusack, his wife Laura, his sisters Ann and Peggy. Surviving are his twin brother Bob and his wife Dotty Cusack, his sister Fran, his daughters, Maryann Barbaro, Julie and her husband Pat Kelly; his sons Mark and his wife Thea, Dan and his wife Ann; his ex-wife Alice Stein and his step daughters Susan Davis, Laurie Smith, Kristin Trojan and 17 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 27th at 10:30 at Parish of St. John the Evangelist, 172 Main Street, Hingham, MA.
