Willie W. Jackson, 58, Sarasota, died Aug. 9, 2002. He was born Jan. 22, 1944, in Leesburg, Ga., and came to Sarasota in 1968 from Albany, Ga. He was a carrier for the Sarasota County School Board. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Artman; sons Morgan and Ryan, both of Sarasota; a stepson, Anthony Peace of North Port; a stepdaughter, Angie Artman-Scott of Sarasota; sisters May Neather of Sylvester, Ga., and the Rev. Delores Miller of Long Island, N.Y.; and brothers James of Sarasota and Joe of Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home. Services and burial will be in Georgia.
