Mr. Willie Smith, 55, departed this life Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at Bay Medical Center. Mr. Smith was born Jan. 16, 1952, to the Late Ben Smith and Mable Smith. Mr. Smith was employed many years with North America Van Lines, and when he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tommy Smith. He leaves a loving and devoted family to cherish his memory: a very loving and dear sister, Nell Smith; a devoted companion, Lisa Moore; a long-time special friend, Dorothy Gathers; his children, Tony Smith, Serena Fisher, Carolyn Gathers, David Smith, Cody Smith, Aurthur Moore and Adrienne Williams. Visitation for Mr. Smith will be held from 4-8 p.m. today, Nov. 23, 2007, at Russell A. Wright, Sr., Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Jesus Only Tabernacle, 1621 Fortune Avenue, Panama City, Fla., with Elder Willie Bright officiating. Interment will follow in the Redwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
