Willie Ruth Johnson, 65, made her transition on Oct. 29, 2013. The celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Clearview Baptist Church, 314-320 Hobson St., Newark N.J. Visitation is on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment is in Mayfield Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Duncan, S.C. Arrangement are by Whigham Funeral Home. Born in Spartanburg, S.C., and a resident of Irvington, N.J., Willie Ruth was a retired financial analyst for Honeywell, Morristown, N.J. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Beloved wife of the late King Johnson, she was the daughter of Annie Bell Gould and the late Leo Mallory; sister of the late Otis Mallory; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
