WILLIAMS Willie Mae Williams, 83, was called home by God on Saturday October 26, 2013. She was born July 29, 1930 and lived in Long Island, New York for 35 years where she worked and retired from the Meat Cutters Union as a butcher. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Minus; and her sister, Ida Mae Wimberly. She is survived by her Daughter, Aundra Worthy; grandchildren, Candy & Arthur Wesley, Kipp & Keya Worthy, Kareem Worthy; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews, Juanita Pressley, Venturia Turner, Lorenzo & Kim Wimberly, Denise Harris, Terrain & Regina Owens, and many great & great-great nephews and nieces, a host of friends in New York and her Church family where she worshipped faithfully at Open Arms Christian Fellowship. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00AM in the Open Arms Christian Fellowship, 2763 Dunn Ave, Leofric Thomas, Sr., Pastor. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
