Mrs. Willie Mae Williams, 69, years of age, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 at a local hospital.She was a native of Florala, Ala. And grew up in Panama City, Fla. She was a member of Mt. Olive AME Church where she was a faithful member and served on the Trustee Board and as church clerk. She was the secretary of the Hillside Cemetery committee. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Alphonso Williams, Sr. of Panama City, Fla.; two sons, Alphonso Williams, Jr. (Simone) of Brandon, Miss. And Alonzo Williams (Vanessa) of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Ina Clayton of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Reathel Curry (Arthur) of Decatur, Ga., Ollie Taylor (Edward) of Panama City, Fla.; and one brother-in-law, Walter Williams, Jr. (Bernice) of Panama City, Fla.; ten grandchildren, Marteka, Jamil, Sanchez (Lhea), Larry, DeChanda, Maja, Kristian, Jasmine, LaShayla, and Tekia; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Olive AME Church. Burial will follow at the Hillside cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Mt. Olive AME Church.Russell A. Wright, Sr. Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
