Willie Mae Mitchell, 78, Bradenton, died Oct. 23, 2002. She was born July 11, 1924, in Savannah, Ga., and came to this area in 1969 from St. Augustine. She was a homemaker. She was a United Methodist. Survivors include daughters Norma Jean and Gloria Yvonne, both of Bradenton; and a sister, Eva Williams of Palmetto. Visitation will from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rogers Memorial United Methodist Church in Bradenton, with the service to follow at 6 p.m. at the church. Riggins & Daughter Funeral Home is in charge. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park.
