Willie Mae Jackson, 90, passed away Feb. 6, 2012, at JFK Medical Center, Edison, N.J. Arrangements are by the Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick, N.J. The service is Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at 6 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset St., Somerset, N.J. The viewing is from 5 to 6 p.m. at the church. Cremation will be at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, N.J. Born in Lancaster County, S.C., Willie Mae lived in High Point, N.C., New York, Morristown, N.J., Newark, N.J., Madison, N.J., and Metuchen, N.J. before moving to Edison, N.J. She was employed with Roosevelt Hospital in Edison, N.J., and Dutch Laundry in High Point, N.C. before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond. Surviving are children, Dorothy Elbeck (Maurice), Artis Carpenter Jr, Ronald and Timothy Jackson, Clarence Ware (Marguerite), Stanley Jackson, Patricia Ewers (Rev. Garth Ewers), Warren, Sheila, Darnell, and Carl Jackson; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
