Funeral services for Willie Mae Brown age 91 will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday November 22 2003 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Mrs. Brown passed away early Thursday at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. She was born in Chester County daughter of the late Oscar and Maggie Davis and had spent most of her life in Jackson. She and her late husband William B. Brown Sr. moved to Memphis to make their home in 1974. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Brown was a Baptist. She is survived by her son William B. Billy Brown Jr. and wife Fay of Arlington TN; three grandchildren Laurie Brown John Rush and Mike Rush all of Memphis; and two great grandchildren Cathy and Chris Rush. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by a step-daughter Betty Rush. Pallbearers for the service will be William Brown Jr. Boyd Coffee John Rush Mike Rush Greer Collins and Tom Lambeth.
