Funeral services will be 10 a.m. EST Sat., Jan. 22 at Capital City Church of Christ, 2002 Williams Rd, Tallahassee with burial at Mt. Ararat Church Cemetery, Waukeenah. Viewing-visitation will be Fri., 3-7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6-7 at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950).Also known as "Buster", Mr. Williams was a native of Lloyd and a longtime Tallahassee resident. He was a retired custodian supervisor for the Leon County School Board, as well as a self-employed painter and flooring finisher.Cherishing precious memories are his caretakers: daughter, Wilma Rivers; grandchildren, Minister Anthony (Karlyn) Battle, Sebrina (Peter) Williams-John and Franklin Williams II, all of Tallahassee; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Mr. Williams was predeceased by: his wife, Willie Mae Glenn Williams; two sons, Willie "Sonny" and Franklin "Petey" Williams and a daughter, Trudie Williams Battle.
