Mr. Willie Lester Jackson - SAVANNAH - Mr. Willie Lester Jackson, 54, had his transition Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. A native of Savannah, he was an Independent Truck Driver He served his County in US Army from 1974-1977, receiving an Honorable Discharge. His parents: James Garfield Jackson, Sr., and Sirfronia Whitfield Jackson; brother, Willie James Jackson, preceded him in death. Survivors: three brothers, James G. Jackson, Jr., Earl A. Jackson and Geneal G. Jackson, all of Savannah; four sisters, Julia Jackson- Pounds of Orlando, FL, Gladys H. Lopez, Sadie A. Wiley and Mary D. Jackson, all of Savannah; two aunts, Mae Bell Murray of Statesboro, GA, and Elise Kent of Minneapolis, MN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
