Obituary of Willie-Lee Jackson


August 17, 2003 Willie Lee Jackson, "Hundred Dollar Willie", age 57, of Cicero, NY, died Sunday at home. Mr. Jackson was born in GA, the son of John and Elnora Brown Jackson. He was a truck driver, employed by Yellow Transport. He is sur-vived by: his wife Eloise Sorrell Jackson of Cicero; four sons, Carl Grovner, Blair Grovner, Allen Grovner, and Eugene Lewis III, all of Syracuse; five daughters, Tisha C., Sidra Jackson Grinter, Tiffany Surrell, and Latorese Jackson, all of Syracuse, and Glenna Jackson of FL; his mother Cora Bell Jackson of FL; three brothers, John and Ella Jackson of FL, Charlie and Annie Mae Jackson of FL, Johnnie Streets of Syracuse; four sisters, Sarah Mae and Tommy Cantie of FL, Shawanda Jackson of FL, Nell Roberts of GA, and Martha Jackson of Syracuse; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Geraline Strom, Charles Sorrell, Robert and Linda Sorrell, Ricky and Lorna Sorrell, Gladys and Lyles Lamar. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sears-Middleton-Jones Funeral Home Inc., 209 North Main Street (Rt. 11), North Syracuse.
