Willie Lee "Bo" Anderson, will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John Church of God In Christ, pastored by Dr. Ronald McCloud on the Bainbridge Highway of Quincy, Florida with the Rev. Matthew J. Bryant, officiating.The Interment at church cemetery and Repast will be held at the St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church, Pastored by Rev. Matthew J. Bryant, located at 4445 Bainbridge Highway adjacent to St. John Elementary School. The family will receive friends from 1 to 7 p.m., on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Williams Funeral Home of Quincy, Florida. Willie was born March 2, 1952 in Gadsden County, Florida to the late Fred Anderson, Sr., and Annie Mae Saulter Anderson, both of whom have preceded him in death.Willie received his formal education in the Gadsden County Public Schools. He attended St. John Elementary School, and attended Carter-Parramore High School where he earned a Standard High School Diploma. After graduating from high school with the Class of 1970, he secured employment in various fields. His first work experience was in construction and from there he worked with his Dad at the Floridin Mine until he obtained a position at Niagara Wires.After the closing of Niagara Wires, the Lord guided Willie's footsteps to an employment position with the City of Tallahassee, Florida where he served until his sudden departure from those he loved and who also loved him in return. Willie's soul took flight when the Lord called him home on Monday evening, October 13, 2014.Although he is physically gone, his legacy and his spirit live on through the beautiful and cherished memories of his beloved wife, Anita Knight Anderson, his son and daughter-in-law Travice "Wayne" & (Tammy), of Jacksonville, FL, his daughter, Shenita, granddaughter, Travecia and precious mother-in-law, Ms. Gertrude Gaines.He also leaves behind seven brothers/sisters-in-law, James (Debra), Roy Lee (Gloria), Richard (Ella), Lindsey (Carol), Fred (Millie), Jimmie (Cossandra), all of Quincy, FL, and Charles (Cheryl) of Miami, FL; two sisters, Betty of Quincy, FL and Mary of Tallahassee, FL along with a loving aunt, Ms. Corine Hoggins, of Delray Beach, FL and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and precious friends.Williams Funeral Home of Quincy, Florida in charge of arrangements.
