Mr. Willie L. Jackson - ELLABELL - Mr. Willie L. Jackson, 89, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Cedar Plantation in Metter. Mr. Jackson was born in Trenton, TN and lived most of his life in Savannah. He retired as owner/operator of Jackson Electric Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jackson, two children, Loretta Lynn and Larry Jackson and a great-grandson, Perry Kellam. Mr. Jackson served his country in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his children, T.L. (Patty) Jackson of Metter, Vivian (Randy) Kicklighter of Pembroke and Harry (Alice) Jackson of Ellabell; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home Funeral: 10 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fleming with military honors. The family request that in lieu of flowers remembrances may be sent to Odyssey Healthcare, 810 Towne Park Drive, Suite 100, Rincon, GA 31326.
