Jackson, WillieWillie Jackson, 77 passed away peacefully on May 21, 2010 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was born on. April 30, 1933 in Macclenny FL. and had lived in Gainesville all of his life. A graduate of Bethune Cookman College, and Nova University he taught in Alachua County Public School System for 37 years, retiring in 1997 but continued to substitute teach for ten years. He was also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. He leaves to cherish his memory seven children George Faulkner, Elizabeth Faulkner-Jackson, Willie Faulkner, Larry Faulkner, Terry Faulkner, Jerry Edwards, Sr. (Carol) and Billy Edwards, he also leave s behind a host of grand and great grandchildren.
