WILLIE MAE JACKSON1932-2007Willie Mae Jackson, age 74, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007.Mrs. Jackson was a faithful member of First Corinthians Baptist Church, a member of Eastern Stars and retired from the Escambia County after 30 years of service as a Community Service Specialist.She is survived by a loving and devoted husband, James Jackson; daughters, Mary A. Wilson and Minnie Blowe; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Loraine Jackson; five grandchildren, Cathy Hunter, Christopher (Irma) Wilson, Ronald L. Jackson, Lindsey Jackson and Sio'Bian C. Goree; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Ann Blowe, Betty Perry and Linda Ford; a special goddaughter, Evelyn "Tia" Polie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Corinthians Baptist Church with the Rev. C. E. Salter, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday and at the church from 10-11 a.m., Saturday.BENBOE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
