July 30, 2007 Willie Dorothy Dixon, 77, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord Monday at University Hospital, with her family beside her. She was a member of Greater New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Joe Dixon of Union Town, AL; three children, Bernice Goodman (Roosevelt) of Indianapolis, IN, and Susan and William Rowser, both of Syracuse; five sisters, Lucille Jackson and Jannie Rowser of Demopolis, AL, Annie Jones and Frances Rowser of Syracuse and Clara Washington of Detroit, MI; and one brother, Alex Rowser of Syracuse.
